Chirihama Beach Drive with a Campervan
Hello again Camper lovers. This time we are at Chirihama Beach Drive. This is a very special attraction in Japan because this is the only one beach where you can drive your vehicle. It is located on the west side of Noto Peninsula in Ichikawa prefecture.
Driving on the Chirihama Beach is free of charge and you can drive in both directions. The entire beach drive is about eight kilometre long and as you can see on the video and photos people not only drive but also camp and relax. There are also some food stalls along the beach where you can buy local specialties (clams and shellfish)
I was also lucky and spotted a local artist who was working on sand sculpture. He craved a motive from Star Wars (I'm a big fan).
Less then 50 kilometres away is Kanazawa city - which is a great base and fantastic spot to visit ( I will publish a separate post on Kanazawa city soon)
